At Antiageluminous, we take pride in delivering high-quality custom embroidery, patches, and appliqué work. This Return Policy outlines our approach to returns, refunds, and quality guarantees for our clothing decoration services.

Custom Work Nature

Our services involve custom-created decoration based on your specific designs and requirements. Each project is unique and personalized. Because of the custom nature of our work, standard return policies do not apply in the same way as ready-made products.

Return Timeframe

If you believe there is a problem with the quality of our workmanship, you should contact us as soon as possible. Quality concerns and requests for assessment should generally be raised within 7 days of receiving your completed items, and within the 90-day workmanship warranty period described below.

Quality Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work. If your completed project has defects in workmanship or does not match the approved specifications, we will:

  • Repair or remake the decoration at no additional cost
  • Work with you to find a satisfactory solution
  • Provide a refund if we cannot resolve the issue

Quality concerns must be reported within 7 days of receiving your completed items.

What We Consider Defects

Defects covered by our guarantee include:

  • Embroidery or appliqué work that does not match approved design specifications
  • Loose threads or poor stitch quality affecting durability
  • Patches that detach or are improperly secured
  • Significant color discrepancies from approved samples
  • Damage to the base garment caused during our decoration process

What Is Not Covered

The following are not considered defects:

  • Minor variations inherent in handcrafted work
  • Color variations due to different fabric types or lighting conditions
  • Changes in design preference after approval
  • Damage occurring after delivery due to improper care
  • Pre-existing damage to client-provided garments
  • Normal wear over time

Conditions for Returns and Remedial Work

To assess whether a return, repair, remake, or refund is appropriate, we may ask you to:

  • Provide clear photos and a description of the issue
  • Return the affected items to us for inspection
  • Confirm the original specifications and approvals given before production

Outcomes will be determined in line with the Australian Consumer Law and our commitment to fair and practical resolutions.

Design Changes

Once you approve a design and we begin production, changes are difficult or impossible to implement. If you wish to modify a project after approval:

  • Contact us immediately before work progresses
  • Modifications may incur additional fees
  • Some changes may require starting a new project
  • We will work with you to find the best solution

Cancellations

You may cancel your order under these conditions:

  • Before design approval: Full refund of any deposits
  • After approval but before production starts: Refund minus design fees
  • After production begins: Refund only for portions not yet completed
  • After completion: No refunds unless quality issues exist

Non-Returnable Items

Because of the personalised nature of our services, some items and situations are generally not eligible for return or refund:

  • Custom work that matches the approved design and specifications
  • Changes of mind after approval and completion of the project
  • Garments that have been worn, washed, or altered after delivery (except where required under the Australian Consumer Law)
  • Pre-existing faults in garments or materials supplied by the client

Return Process and Shipping Costs

If you believe there is a quality issue with your order:

  • Contact us within 7 days of receiving your items
  • Provide photos clearly showing the issue
  • Describe the problem and how it differs from specifications
  • We will assess the situation and propose a solution
  • If return is necessary, we will provide shipping instructions
  • Where the Australian Consumer Law requires it or where the issue is confirmed to be a defect in our workmanship, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs
  • Where the issue is not due to our workmanship or obligations under the Australian Consumer Law, you may be responsible for return shipping costs

Care Instructions

Proper care extends the life of your decorated garments:

  • Wash inside out in cold water
  • Use gentle cycle for embroidered or appliquéd items
  • Avoid harsh detergents or bleach
  • Air dry when possible, or use low heat
  • Iron carefully around decorated areas

Damage from improper care is not covered by our guarantee.

Warranty Period

Our workmanship is guaranteed for 90 days from delivery. This warranty covers defects in our decoration work, including:

  • Thread breakage due to poor stitching
  • Patches coming loose from proper attachment failure
  • Appliqué pieces detaching due to workmanship issues

Normal wear and tear is not covered beyond this period.

Australian Consumer Law Rights

Nothing in this Return Policy is intended to exclude or limit any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. If our services fail to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, rework, replacement, or refund, and to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage, as set out in that law.

Any additional guarantees or procedures described in this policy apply alongside your statutory rights and do not replace them.

Client-Provided Materials

When you provide garments or materials for decoration:

  • We inspect items and note any pre-existing damage
  • We are not responsible for damage to worn or fragile items
  • Some materials may not be suitable for all decoration techniques
  • We will advise if materials present risks before proceeding

Resolution Commitment

At Antiageluminous, customer satisfaction is important to us. If you are unhappy with your completed project, we commit to:

  • Responding to concerns within one business day
  • Working collaboratively to find solutions
  • Being transparent about what can and cannot be changed
  • Standing behind our workmanship
